Transition from stained crown molding to painted?
I have ceiling height kitchen cabinets in my kitchen. After the final cabinet, I'm not sure how to transition to the crown molding on the wall. I'm contemplating using a different type of crown molding painted white on the walls adjacent to the kitchen cabinets. How should I gracefully make the transition between the two types of molding?
The crown moulding should butt to the end cabinet. Cut to shape around other moulding that trims the cabinet. The other end of the crown moulding should also butt to the opposite wall. The piece that makes the corner should be shaped to fit the other piece with a coping saw.
