Where is the best campsite in Devon or Cornwall?
My Husband and I enjoy camping in a tent for two weeks in the summer and fancy a change from our usual holiday in Great Yarmouth.We have a very nice frame tent with a kitchen in so we can cook in the tent if we like.

We enjoyed Wheal Rodney Holiday Park during our last trip to Cornwall. It is located in the ancient town of Marazion, a short walk from the beautiful island-castle of St. Michael's Mount, and very nearby to buses. There is a swimming pool and laundry facilities at the campground. Rates are affordable.

You can also walk along the beach to Penzance and enjoy that bustling market town, take a helicopter ride to the Isles of Scilly, or strike out to nearby ancient sites like the Men-An-Tol or Carn Euny. Additional nearby attractions are Land's End, St. Ives, Sennen Cove, Mousehole, the Minack Theater, and the Eden Project. Cornwall is simply incredible, especially the Penwith area (Western Cornwall.) In fact, I became so obsessed with the mystical qualities of the place that my first novel takes place there. =)
