Does exercise and diet affect sleeping habits?
This week i started exercising an extra hour and changed my diet completely. I no longer drink soda, eat fast food, or any sweets.
I understand that the extra hour i am adding to my workouts would make me tired but i do not understand why i am not able to sleep. i am soooooo tired yet i find myself tossing and turning in bed until 4 in the morning.
is my extra hour of workout and the change in my diet affecting my sleep?
That extra hour of exercising has caused your endorphins to get worked up. This is causing you to be restless. This should level out and you should be able to sleep better than before.
Changing your food habits (soda, fast food and sugar) is really beneficial to your health, so I think that you are on the right track. Just give your body time to adjust to this new schedule.
