What type of air compressor hose do I need?
I have a Husky Air Scout air compressor (Red Cube). A mouse chewed through an INTERNAL air line that directly connected the COMPRESSOR PUMP TO THE TANK (135 PSI max). The line that was chewed through looked to be transparent plastic with fiber reinforcement on the outside....
I need to replace this line but have been unsuccessful so far. I went to Lowes to get some air line from their spool. It is 1/4" ID, fiber reinforced, and rated at a working pressure of 250 PSI. The trouble is when the compressor is running, the air line heats up, the hose softens, and begins to bulge and subsequently bursts.
What type of air compressor line should I get that can take the heat? And where can I get it?

You can use an air brake line for this connection,take your broken parts to an automotive parts store and they will help you select the proper fittings and replacement line.
