On a multi-purpose field how do they change a football field to a basketball court?
And how do they put their exact logos? And in transition from a NFL game to a college football bowl how do they remove the NFL logos and put the college logo? Best answer gets 5 stars.
One more thing, how do you put logos on ice rinks like in hockey. Such as brands as reebok?
1) They put the basketball court on top of the football field. The court is generally separated into sections that is put together like a jigsaw puzzle, and then they just wheel in the baskets.
2) Logos are generally first designed using a computer with software that can calculate the size of the logo, amount of paint needed, etc. Then, the designs are used to make stencils that are cut to size, color-coded, etc. The designs, stencils and paint are then shipped to the field crew. They first use a base paint to cover the area of the field where the logo would go, and then simply color in using the stencils and the design specs. The paint is applied using an airless spray.
3) To change logos, the area of the field where the logos are placed need to be resodded first. This clears the original logo, so they can do everything over again (see # 2).
