What do you think of my poem?
I'm captivated by the beauty
Of this canopy of crimson and gold foliage
I gaze upon the scene from the cradle
Of the rock I sit on.
Mother Nature's symphony of the leaves crunching
And my own melody of my heart beating
The rustling leaves in the crisp winter breeze
Send shivers up my spine
Yet I am still so warm in this
Tranquil environment that surrounds me
And the ray of sunshine that is resting upon my face
Somehow, I can taste the sweet earthy-flavor
That is fresh and relaxing
The smell of nature’s dirt lasts
Like fields of flowers that run on for miles
Dull, the leaves will be
Lifeless, the trees will be
Frozen more, is its destiny.
Yet, it is perfect
Because,
True perfection has to be imperfect.
