Which bivy bag should I get?
http://www.backcountry.com/outdoorgear/Marmot-Mesh-Bivy/MAR1640M.html
-this one is what im considering most, because i can get cheap tarp for it when it rains, im worried about bugs and animals/snakes mostly. (i want lightweight for backpacking across europe)

-This ones very nice i think, but a little costly, relative to others, my second choice right now

-bigger but ok price..
what do you guys think?? i want little space/lighter weight (space more important), cheap, but one that will last for 1-3 years
First of all a regular bivy like the second and third ones you've linked to isn't an ideal shelter anywhere but sub-freezing conditions. You'll be hot, humid and miserable inside in any other weather due to the insufficient ventilation; even with the doors wide open.
The mesh bivy on the other hand isn't too dissimilar from my homesewn Ray Jardine 2-1/2 man "net tent" which attaches under my homesewn Ray Jardine tarp, the nearly waterproof bathtub floor doubling as a ground cloth. Except of course mine requires no poles and simply hangs from the inside of the tarp as I've mentioned making it ultralight.

That Marmot one is on sale here for $10 less:

You could also consider something like this which hangs under your tarp, saving weight with no poles:

If you can't make your own I suggest you go with the lightest net tent available, though keep in mind you can totally get by without the net tent outside of major mosquito seasons in northern Scandinavia as I've never heard of snakes or other small critters entering people's sleeping bags.
Are you bringing a sleeping bag because a sleeping quilt is much lighter? http://www.rayjardine.com/ray-way/Quilt-Kit/index.htm
You'd need a smaller backpack if you're carrying such small lightweight gear and there are many options. Message me if interested in multiple links.
You tricked me into answering this one since I've since noticed you never choose a best answer so I won't delete it but I'd appreciate it if you thought my answer helped you to take the time to choose it as best answer. Thank you.
